Things are really on the move in 2020! So far…
JOBS
Nick completed his almost three years as a counselor at Gateway Woods. Although this season was often a difficult one with many late hours and challenging schedules (and paperwork!) it was also a time of great growth professionally and for us. We’re grateful for the team and kids he could work with there.

LICENSURE
After much waiting, Nick was finally able to schedule to take his full licensure exam on February 13, just a week before we leave for Colorado. Please keep praying for this to all complete well before we leave.
LEAVING FOR TRAINING
February 21 we embark for a month long pre-field training. Will you join us in prayer to be fully funded before we leave for Colorado? As of today (02.04) we are just 4 partners short of our immediate budget. If you’d like to partner with us, please join us HERE.

Leave a message in the comments about something you’d really want to take!
We’d love to hear your thoughts…
MOVING
Our home will go on the market this month and we’re selling many of our belongings! We are hosting a huge sale for anyone local this week. We’d love to see you there.

STAYING HEALTHY
So with all these different balls in the air, how are we managing things? Well… we’re grateful for a lot of support from amazing family and friends. Maintaining daily habits of prayer, study and exercise really help keep life stable amidst instability. And we remember that this too is just a season. Today, I (Amber) read a wonderful article about practicing FIRM FLEXIBILITY. What a great concept.

If you’ve made it this far, thanks for sticking with us. Please keep us lifted up as we navigate February – a busy month of some real transitions. We are peaceful. We are grateful. And we are super busy.

Prayers for you both as you continue to prepare for your big move. Nick, great job on completing your counselor training. May God give you a clear mind as you take your test next week.
It must be a challenge to sort through your belongings and decide what to take. I can’t narrow it down to just one. I would take my camera, computer/ipad, a couple books I want to read, my Bible, a journal, and a favorite recipe book.
