Since announcing our move abroad, we’ve been overwhelmed by your support! Thank you, thank you! While it hasn’t felt exactly like smooth sailing, we’re grateful for the prayers and love you’ve shared with us as we embark on this journey.

WHAT’S HAPPENING NOW?

We are currently navigating a host of details. It’s not glamorous, but we’re learning a lot. Our biggest decision revolves around a “sending organization” that we need to process donations. We explored some great options, but in the end, have decided that the wisest choice for our situation was to start our own small non-profit.

SAFE HAVEN TRAVELERS, INC.

Instead of using an outside sending agency that would collect a 10% + overall fee from each donation given and require extra things from us that make our jobs abroad more difficult, we got some wise counsel that encouraged us to consider this separate avenue. Additional fees that would go to the sending organization made us realize we could be better stewards by handling the finances differently.

This isn’t the route for everyone, but we’re grateful supportive mentors around us that can walk us through this process and will support us in a myriad of ways on this journey!

Starting a non-profit allows us to give you tax deductible receipts for every donation you make. So… as we start down this road, we hope you’ll consider partnering with us! Shortly, we’ll have giving forms available on this website where you can give one-time or monthly gifts. Also…
