A 7-Week Journey of Prayer, Lament, and Hope

February 18 – April 2, 2026

We are fast approaching the season of Lent, a tradition in the global church calendar that invites the Christian into a season of preparation, fasting, and prayer. This year we’ve been burdened to do something more – and want to invite you to join us.

Perhaps like us, you’ve felt a deepening sense of helplessness as we listen and watch news headlines from every corner of the globe. Are you too overwhelmed with news of suffering, violence, and seemingly irreparable anger all around us? If so, we’re inviting you join us this Lenten season in collective prayer for the nations, where we can pour out or laments for this broken world and look for where God is calling us to be the hands and feet of Love.

Over seven weeks, we’ll journey together across every continent, bringing the needs of our world before God with honest hearts and faithful prayer. Will you join us, from your own corner of the globe?

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Every week, you’ll receive an email from us with:

– A guided prayer liturgy focused on one continent

– Video or podcast reflection and guided prayer from us

– A beautiful PDF for personal use or group gatherings

– Space for your own prayers and laments as you respond to current headlines

– Optional additional mental health / spiritual formation exercises to carry with you through the week

We’d encourage you to gather (independently or with a small group in your community) to pray with us and lament, just as the psalmists taught us. It’s our prayer that throughout this time, we’ll have space to listen for where the Spirit is moving us individually towards action – perhaps to a particular need or injustice locally or globally. And while we are gathering from many corners of the globe, we hope to also provide a platform for sharing your own reflections, prayers, or creative responses that can inspire others.
