“Our time in counseling with you was holistic, balanced, careful, and encompassed our entire family… your willingness to enter our family’s trauma and provide care was an answer to our deepest prayers.” – Client serving in a closed country
Your investment in the health of cross-cultural workers is making a difference!
Investing in holistic member are – through emotional, spiritual and relational support – is both compassionate stewardship and the key to lasting sustainability, helping cross-cultural workers and their families be resilient and effective in ministry. We want every year of preparation and every ounce of sacrifice to lead to lasting impact and healthy, thriving workers fulfilling their calling overseas.

What you might not know:
On average it takes a cross-cultural worker 2-5 years to get to the field.
Budgets for families serving cross-culturally are significant (meaning it takes a LOT of fundraising and partnerships with individuals and churches to get someone on the field). Their budgets include:
- International flights (especially for families this is significant!) and travel needs
- International School fees
- Organizational Fees
- Extra insurance or higher premiums in difficult contexts
- Visas and lots of paperwork needs
- Language schools & language helper fees
- Set up costs during transition times
- Extreme Inflation and high costs of living
- plus all the normal life fees that you face no matter where you live
Workers leave the field annually for a host of reasons:
- Aging parents
- Their commitment is completed
- Visa problelms in country
- Medical needs
- Support for their child not available overseas
But, 71% of the reasons that workers leave the field are preventable! This would include things like:
- Team or agency relational conflict
- Burnout and emotional / spiritual strain
- Poor fit or unmet expectattions
- Inadequate training or lack of ongoing member care support
- Financial stress and fundraising difficulties
Workers who leave the field early do so at an estimated financial loss of $100,000 – $200,000 PER PREVENTABLE RETURN. (from research by Missio Nexus, International Mission Board, and several sending organizations)
Simply put, it’s good stewardship to invest in the long-term health and stability of cross-cultural workers.

Through our work providing pastoral and clinical counseling to workers in Western Asia, Northern Africa, Eastern Europe (and beyond!), we have clear data that shows the powerful impact intensive therapy can have.
After therapy with our team, clients’ assessments revealed:
- Experienced a marked decrease in symptoms
- Strengthened or sustained meaningful relationship with God
- Gained a strong understanding of their personal challenges
- Made significant, measurable progress toward their goals
- Found our services deeply beneficial
- Felt genuinely supported and encouraged by their counselor
- Reported a highly positive overall experience – and would confidently return.
It matters. It provides lasting impact in the lives of these workers – and that ripples out into the powerful changes that happen in communities through them.
We can’t do this without you!
Right now, we’re so grateful for some generous donors helping us reach a much-needed financial goal to help us sustain our ministry in the coming year.
Your gift this Christmas is doubled, up to $5,000!
- Would you consider raising your monthly or annual gift in the coming year?
- Would you consider a one-time added gift to help us bridge the gap in our ministry budget?
This work is important. It is changing lives. And your part is vital for us to be able to provide this kind of care to those who God is sending around the world.
THE IMPACT OF YOUR GIFT
$100 / month = $1,250
This provides one cross-cultural worker with intensive counseling.
- Right now, your gift is DOUBLED up to $5,000! So raising your support from $25 to $50/month means that the first year, you’re actually providing for an entire intensive counseling experience!
- Alternatively, if you can give $625 one time, that’s DOUBLED and will provide counseling for a worker in 2026.
